Ukrainians on Bay St. is a group of financial professionals of Ukrainian descent, who work on, or in the vicinity of Bay St., Canada’s financial hub. The group was formed in 2013, as a result of a discussion between two Bay St. Ukrainian professionals. Over the ensuing years, the membership has grown to over 250.

The group’s mandate is to generate professional and social networking opportunities for Ukrainian Canadians in the financial industry. Past speakers include Paul Grod, President of the Ukrainian Canadian Congress, Chrystia Freeland, Canada’s Minister of International Trade and Basil Kalymon, Professor Emeritus, Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario. The group has also provided significant financial assistance to the Ukraine Paediatric Fellowship Program at Sick Kids Hospital and to the Ukraine Patriotic Defence Forces.
